Show Notes

Hosts: Matt Hochberg, Mike Scopa, Mike Newell & Len Testa

Your next vacation time is oh so far away
You're counting down the seconds every single day
What are you to do?
Well, there's one venue I recommend you turn to
Where your Magic withdrawal will finally be cured
Spend three days a week with Super Walt Disney World Nerds
You can depend on Matt, Mike, Mike and Len

At WDW Today, WDW Today, WDW Today
When you are in trouble you'll find WDW Today

Len will sing Van Halen songs and then he will provide
Plugs for touringplans.com and the Unofficial Guide
"If we can dream it, then we can do it - yes we can"

Matt's still convinced that you move on the hydrolators
And he'd sell Lou Mongello for a box of Wonka bars
When you introduce your co-hosts tonight, please get their websites right

Even with nervous breakdowns, Newell works hard non-stop
Forget Space Mountain, point him to the camera shop
Or he'll just go next to that freakin' bush to fill up Mouse World Radio

Dr. Scopa grew up in the Garden of Eden
He'd eat a Scopa Special then a Dole whip in the sun
Skip Animal Kingdom and stay at Scopa Towers tonight
Unfortunately Scopa is right

They'll send you to Narcoossee's, table for two, you'll have fun
They'll bulldoze Chester and Hester and rebuild Horizons
Listen on Wednesdays and maybe you'll hear last year's questions
But that's just part of what makes this podcast the best one

Can we expect the song to start being played on MouseWorldRadio now?

Also, Newell, does your wife know what she started when she made that comment about listening to the bush in Magic Kingdom? :-D

Cool song and excellent podcast as always....

--- Chuck3

P.S. Does Lou know he made it into the WDWToday song??

Wow, thank you all! I really appreciate the compliments.

Len, I would be honored to have my song as the theme song.

Keep the show rockin' (and thanks again!!)

If it cost $2 an inch, and you spent around $24 for your daughter's hair wrap, that means that Hannah's hair is longer than Lou Mongello is tall!.........JW

Nothing is more wonderful than the imagination. For, in a moment, you can experience a beautiful fantasy. Or, an exciting adventure!

Len you forgot to tell them about you trying to use old expired passes to get into Epcot but at least you could out run the security at the front gate and still make it to Tikifest.

WOW!!! The song is awesome. I have listen to it about a million times. Thanks to the singers and super wdw nerds for all yall do. I know I don't post enough or send enough emails to say how much I appreciate all you all do. To be immortalized in a song with Lou mongello, life doesn't get much better than that.
Van Halen to Reunite with David Lee Roth

Dave, Ed and Alex will attend a press conference at 2 pm EDT on Monday, August 13 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. They're expected to announce a 50-city tour of North America, beginning in October.

Longtime listeners of the show know my affection for this band. And if I may reflect for a moment (wink), I'm sure the feelings of Van Halen fans now are similar to those of the residents of 1944 Normandy, as they saw the first Allied ships approaching on D-Day. Monday's announcement is not, as D-Day was not, the end of our suffering. Monday is, however, like D-Day the beginning of the end. But whereas France had but a handful of years of dark oppression, the world has been without Dave-led Van Halen for more than two decades, so the comparison isn't really fair.

Between now and Monday I urge listeners to check with their employers' Human Resources departments as to whether a paid sabbatical to follow the band on tour qualifies as "supporting the performing arts."
