thats a great idea, but i thought for sure the newspaper would be used to sit on to watch one of the night time shows after a rain, like on the bleachers at fantasmic
Rainy Days

If there is no lightning, a warm rainy day is the perfect time to go to a water park. We have been there a few times during light rain and the park was almost empty.

Not great for lying on the beach but perfect for waterslides with no lines.
Two questions

1. Whatever happened to the "contest" that took place between Scopa and Newell? Did that segment end up on the cutting room floor?

2. More importantly, when do we get a concert review from the recent Van Halen concert?

We were out for a rainy evening in August and headed to Epcot with our daughter. Figured we'd see some characters for her and get some dinner for us. Sadly we were told that they weren't doing character greetings because of the risk of lightning strikes to the characters. Seriously. Indoors. It wasn't just one pavilion, but all of them. So maybe World Showcase isn't the place to head with small children in the rain.

I'd be remiss if I didn't add:

I never meant 2 cause u any sorrow
I never meant 2 cause u any pain
I only wanted 2 one time see you laughing
I only wanted 2 see you laughing in the purple rain

Purple Rain Purple Rain

You know the rest...

Sadly, this podcast came too late to help us when we got totally drenched a number of times last week. I can say, however, that they will still run Everest in the rain, however the experience is somewhat impaired when the rain is so hard you can't open your eyes for fear your contacts will float out. It was just as much fun as you'd think it would be, to ride in a convertible, on the freeway, with the top down, in a monsoon.

There is also virtually no cover from the rain in the back part of AK. After getting shoved out of the gift store by the mass of humanity trying to escape the downpour, we ran from building to building trying to find shelter, but every molecule of awning space was occupied. We finally gave up and just went on Kali River Rapids, because we figured we couldn't get any wetter.
