Great show...not to sound sarcastic or anything, but the last 5 minutes were truly amazing. That remix of you guys was awesome, and then to finish the show with "I like turtles", I nearly lost it in the middle of Publix. Yes I listen while Im grocery shopping, whats it to ya? Well, keep up the great work!

Jason,

For Legal reasons, I had to delete part of your post.

We can't use this site to trade copyrighted audio. We don't want to be closed down.

There is a reason why I always say "Google is your friend". It's more than a running joke.

The other part of Jason's post was this:

"Also, I think that for the family of 4 that needs a bigger room, and goes down 1 time/2 years, that 40 pt DVC idea works out well. I wish I could convince my family........JW"

Thanks for understanding.

Geez . . . .first I can't hear about Narcoosee's without finding myself thinking decidedly grown-up thoughts, and now The Incredibles are never gonna seem the same again.
DVC help

The minimum contract you can purchase as a new member buying resale or even if you are a member purchasing an add-on is 25 pts. The minimum buying as a new member directly from DVC the minimum used to be 150 pts. it has changed recently to a minimum of 160 pts. That is the beauty of buying on the resale market. I would highly suggest you get on Shontell's email list and she'll email the current listings to you for you to get an idea on what a contract is selling for. For the listener that asked if DVC is for them, I would say yes. They mentioned that they would be going every other year. A small contract would be perfect for them. You get all of the benefits that DVC offers whether you buy a minimum of 160 pts. directly from DVC or if you start off with as little as a 25 pt. contract via resale. Once you buy resale and are a member, you can buy directly from DVC for add-on pts. Your add-on pts. can be as small as 25 pts. to unlimited. I would suggest buying smaller contracts with preferably the same use year. The smaller contracts will sell quicker on the resale market and will generally sell for more per point since that small contract gets you in the door. Right now, as members, we get $100 off of an annual pass. That is great since we try to plan at least two trips within a 12 month period. You should give DVCbyResale a call and tell them you are interested and make sure they put you on the e-mail list. Everytime I hear a DVC question on this show I wonder why they don't have a DVC member as a co-host. Some other advice is to buy pts. at the resort where you will want to stay most of the time. With the rapid growth of DVC, the 11 month priority will be very valuable. We chose Beach Club Villas. We love the pool (small water park) that they have and the proximity to Epcot and MGM (both are within walking distance, Epcot 5 mins. MGM 20 mins.) Send me and email if you have any questions to juslem2@yahoo.com . I can't believe that Mike Newell hasn't stayed at either Boardwalk or Beach Club Villas since he is such a big Epcot fan. What's up with that Mike? Best of luck.

Alan,
Snowball's chance? Short answer: No. Long Answer: Early Dec is VERY popular for DVC due to low point requirements and Christmas season. (Pop Warner has nothing to do with DVC demand.) BCV, VWL, and BWV were booked up well before 7 months, and the waiting list is a mile long. Take SSR and be grateful for it. Waiting lists can work miracles, but not for everyone.
Beaches & Cream Counter
Authored by: jonsimon on Saturday, October 06 2007 @ 12:42 PM CDT

I enjoy eating at the Beaches & Cream counter. It's great fun watching Kitchen Sinks being prepared, served and then not completed.

While the burgers and ice-cream are great, I cannot (nor will I ever) eat a Kitchen Sink sundae, so for me this is the Disney Magic at Beaches & Cream.

Great tip on parking for free. This is Mike from Utah. Unfortunately my trip was June 1 - 12th. The boys got to my question in July. We had a great trip, but paid for parking every day. Being a teacher in a state near the bottom of the nation's pay ladder, I can't help thinking about what I could have done with the $100. We are getting ready to go back to our 'home' park for Thanksgiving. There are a number of things we really are going to miss about WDW, but the heat, humidity and walking distances are not among them. It is so nice to be able to walk 500 yards from one park to another. Epcot was by far our favorite and we home that someday DLR's 3rd park will have elements of Epcot. By the way, I still love listening to WDWToday even though we have no trip to the 'World' in our forseeable future.
