Hi there, we were at the P&P party on January 26 - no candy anywhere. Now they're giving out the Mardi Gras beads and gems/jewels, depending on the station - many more bead locations than jewels, much to the kids disappointment! Still it was fun, and after the fireworks, the place was practicially a ghost town.

Thanks for the great podcast!

We went to the P&P Party last year and I have to disagree with Scopa. It seemed to be mostly Princess. We had fun as we dressed up as Pirates, and it was fun going around getting the loot (beads and candy).

We didn't do danceparties or the shows but we saw the parade and the fireworks (which were the best part). But as for the Princesses they were everywhere (look for the background stands that is where they will be).

Jasmine in Adventureland
Belle in Fantasyland
Ariel in Fantasyland
Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and Snow White in Toontown Faire
Pocahontas in Liberty Square
Lady Tremaine and the Sisters in Fantasyland.

just got back from the world, we went to the pirate/princess party on feb 9th and was very disappointed, you got beads and cheap plastic hunks that were suppose to be jewels??? they gave us 2 or three jewels each spot or 1 bead necklace no candy and it filled the tiny bag about half way.....last year we at least got some good chocolates, it truely was the 46 dollar bead party., would not recommend it or do it ourselves again. thanks marymouse
