If you were determined to cheat, wouldn't dumping the drink from China been an easier alternative to hurling?

Classic episode!

The Peach tea in China…I was suckered into that as well. At the time it sounded so refreshing. As you say, I was WRONG…WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! The thought of the tea makes me gag.

I happen to be jogging when I was listening to this episode. Between breathing hard, laughing and gagging, I did almost hurl. Hey Len, maybe try that method next time. It won’t raise as many eyebrows…or index fingers;)

This was the funniest episode ever!

I can't wait to hear about the next "EPCOT Food Challenge".

Here's a suggestion for the next challenge. Select 5 food choices/drinks from each country and put them into a hat. Each time you arrive at a new country, pick one of the food/drink choices from the hat. All players must finish that food/drink within 30 minutes and when they do, they receive 1 point. The player with the most points at the end of the day wins.

I tried this too and was sick by Germany.

In Mexico I had seen these things called Salted Plum Suckers and for some reason I HAD to try them... BARF... they were way salty... So I had a Cream Horn in Norway to clean my palette, still suffering from the taste of the suckers I had a tea in China. Had to use the Restroom in Germany

My mistake, Len. See, I guess it all gets down to MY definition of "eating food," which means that you allow it to pass further down the digestive tract than just the stomach :-)

You're right....it was much more sporting of you to hurl vs. dump it in the trash.

This was the BEST episode since the first Narcoossee's one!!!

I think next time you should invite Christina! This was funny as it was but I can’t imagine how funny it would have been with Ms. Testa harassing her brother about his apparent bulimia problem and drinking maple syrup.

How much money did y’all spend on this adventure?
How did y’all feel that night, or the next morning?

Over on LTAD we are planning Eat & Drink around the World '08 and there is a part of me that wants to really turn it into a Scopa Ruled Challenge of extreme gluttony!

I’ve tried the Eat something at each country before but it was always shared!

Great show guys! What a fun take on World Showcase. I think drinking around the world has been done to death, so this was refreshing. And I don't mean peach tea refreshing LOL!

Hey guys! Funny show. My friends and I ate/sampled around the world this past week but (and here's the smart part) we did it over two days. Canada was a difficult one. We bought chocolate maple candy. Oh, Iforgot. We split everything between the three of us. I think it was more enjoyable than your trip around the world. ;-)

I am wondering if you can write a note to my boss, stating that I was late to work because I had to pull over on the side of the road as not to drive into oncoming traffic.

Len, I feel your pain. I too fell for the peach drink trick about two trips ago.

Also, my strategy would've been to grab a small candy or drink from each country, not a meal (even a kids' meal). Don't know if this would've been against the rules of the Dr. Sir Mike Scopa (or is it Sir Dr. Mike Scopa?). I probably would've gone the other way around the world, but don't know if this would've been bad juju.

I haven't listened to the show yet, it's downloading now. But being there with the group throughout this event was a blast! I didn't partake in the festival, I actually regret that, but I did have a lot of fun and laughs watching it all unfold.

I think we're going to try this on our upcoming trip. Although we'll make up new rules so we don't end up in the bathroom!

We were thinking of making it desserts only, purchasing only ONE item and then splitting it with our family - me, hubby and 5 1/2 year old daughter. We'll make a journal of it too and take pics.

Thanks, guys. I was laughing so hard I had to pull over on I-95 in Stamford, CT or I would cause an accident. Have you ever tried to pull without getting killed there. I mean when the traffic is actually moving.

Guys, this episode had me practically in tears as I was driving home today. I'm just glad I happened to drive rather than take the train, or the other commuters would have thought I was completely insane, I was laughing so hard.

So far this is my favorite episode of my favorite podcast! :)

Loved this episode! I played it again for my hubby and son on our drive over to WDW on August 15th, hubby was humored by it! It reminded me of a very very short version of LTAD's eat & drink around the world, but what a time constraint, guys!!!! Poor Len---dude!!!
