My family of 5 and I were just down at Disney this last weekend (Jan. 15th - Jan. 19). We stayed at Port Orleans had 4 day base tickets, rented a full size car from Alamo, and flew from Detroit for $2147. We did go over the $2500 with food because we at at places like Liberty Tree Tavern.

First, I never meant to question Len's honor. Thanks for all the great info. We've passed it on to our friends. I am humbled at your knowledge and willingness to share it. I will never doubt you again. But I do have another question . . .

Len, one thing you might want to remember is parking... I don't know if the hotel runs a shuttle, but if you are not staying on site parking is getting up there now days... Just something to keep in mind for the book (ding).....

I just managed to listen to this show on the way in. I think it could be possible to do on-site, if you are willing to get one room. If you can hit the $49/nt value resort price, you could probably make it work. But only if you can do that.

My family of four has done a week for around $1800 including rooms, tickets and dining plan before, so it's definitely possible.
