Solo Touring around Disneyland

I have only gone to Disneyland once, and for 1.5 days I was touring solo.

One can definitely cut queues (lines) legitimately when touring solo ("is there a party of 1?"), and even more when you look as if you are touring solo.

I was listening to WDW Today on my MP3 player twice when queuing for Matterhorn Bodsleds, once in the daytime and once at night. Both times, whilst I still had a queue ahead of me, the CastMember came up to me and asked if I was solo. I said "yes", and I immediately got on.

Just shows what listening to WDW Today can do!

There are only two or three things I love in this world more than Disney. One of them is Bruce Springsteen. Which means Len is cool and Newell is on my List!

I received a PIN code in my email today for free dining from 8-16-09 - 10-1-09

I immediately email my travel agent at SmallWorldVacations and she got us Pop Century!

Saved us a bundle! And I believe that it starts a week earlier and ends a week later than last year, could be wrong.

WOO HOO - I'm Going to the World!

The only thing is I dont know if it is the counter service plan or the other plan. As my agent booked it as she was on her way out the to the world and I forgot to ask.

I like riding the rides alone. I find that most of the time, because my Sister and her kids don't like the rollercoasters, that I get on and off faster if I just go alone on the ride. I just wish Disney would impliment the single rider line ques more than they do. I know that if I go to the anti-disney parks that they have single rider lines for all of their coasters.

Sometimes, however, going solo can work against you--on Kilimanjaro Safari, you'll almost always be used to fill in the end of a row, which means you'll be on the right side of the jeep...which I think has inferior viewing opportunities.
