I have 3 boys 12, 10, and 8. We've been going to WDW for the last 4 years and they love the studios! One of their very favorite things to do is pull the rope over the well by Indiana Jones. They could stand there for a half hour each time. They also really like to take a half hour out of their day to play on the Honey I shrunk..play ground and the jedi training is on the top of everyone's list.

I noticed on a recent trip that the streetmosphere stuff can sometimes be hit or miss. I was taking a new to Disney World visitor to the streetmosphere entertainers and had to quickly usher him away because of the guest that was pulled into the show. The guest was trying to joke around at the same level as the cast members and was failing miserably (more loud and obnoxious than anything else) and my buddy was wondering why I liked the streetmosphere stuff so much. We ended up getting to go back later and my friend loved it but had he just had the one experience, he probably would've passed it up next time around.

Kevin said he went last Thanksgiving 2008 and Toy Story wasn't there. Did any one else catch that?
We went in August 2008, and had a great time @ The Studios. My niece was 4 at the time and loved Tower of Terror.

I also think DAK is vastly underrated. But then, I like zoos as well, so I appreciate the laid back exploration afforded by this special park. I do agree with the hosts that a small tactical nuke should be sent to the heart of Primeval Whirl and the entire midway section of Dinoland, but other than that, I think DAK rules.

I also like DHS quite a bit, but if not for Fantasmic, it would be a 1/2 day or 3/4 day park for my family. And the addition of the AI Experience does NOTHING for me, as I regard that show with the kind of contempt most people reserve for socially transmitted diseases. I consider it a personal insult that Disney would even stoop to such a low. But, don't get me wrong, I still think DHS is a wonderful park, it just happens to be the one WDW park I don't mind "short-changing" during a short vacation. Especially now that the AIE is present and Fantasmic does not show every day.

And I think we can all agree that Epcot is just a real special experience, pretty much unlike any other "amusement park" in the US. I could spend a week at Epcot and not get bored. However, it too is not perfect, and I long for the day when the Life Pavilion is once again utilized for something more exciting than festivals and storage. Furthermore, I would love to see the Figment ride replaced with something, anything good, and a few more innovative attractions in the World Showcase. But Epcot definitely entertains in ways almost no other park can.

Anyway, good review, and good podcast. Thanks for keeping me entertained while I exercised this AM!!!
