Every year, we have been to a SWW by chance, not plan. When they were in May, our schools let out in May. When they shifted to cover weekends in June, our schools let out later. While the kids enjoyed the Jedi Academy the first couple of years and the parade, we do not attend the other events. Getting a SWW schedule is still a good idea. From the schedule, you can figure out which parts of the park you want to be in at different times to avoid the large SW crowds.

So I have to say I do enjoy SWW. Even if the Mouse doesn't like for me to go. We went in 04, 05 (our wedding was memorial day weekend), 06 (wedding anniversary + SWW Yeah me!), 07 (moved to the week after memorial day due to Celebration IV, boo hiss), 08 (WDW didn't move the dates back), 09 (can't go, very sad) Maybe in 2010.

At anyrate. It's great if you have a Star Wars fan in your family, but not everyone is. My wife doesn't not like SW, but... she would never go to a fancon. But SWW she can go and do non-SW stuff, and I get my SWCon fix.

Everyone that is going to the WDWToday SWW party have fun. I'll be there in spirit (in my cool ethereal blue green effect, in my Jedi robes, I'll be the one with the little Pal Jedi Mickey.)

It was so refreshing to listen to a whole SWW episode without the annoying snoring.

I haven't been able to attend SWW yet; I hope to get there before the actors start dying off. I have had the pleasure of listening to Jeremy Bulloch at a sci-fi convention once. He is a classically trained actor, a real gentleman, and has some great stories.

When I saw this pop up on my ipod I groaned. It was as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong I like Star Wars but I don't think I'll be going to Star Wars Weekends anytime soon.

This pod cast did give me a good idea for my blog. That's one thing you can always count on from WDW Today. It's a great source of fodder :)

If that's true I guess he wanted something more interesting to do. At least they get you loopy for that. Maybe that was the idea. If he had to listen to it he wasn't going to do it sober.
