Best way from BLT -> MK is to walk. I mean come on, I think it's further to walk to walk to the monorail than it is to walk to the gate....

Hey there weren't any DVC questions for me to talk about this week....

I cannot believe you guys didn't mention Captain Mike down at the docks at the Yacht Club Resort as one of the best Cast Members on property. Actually I can understand Len not picking him since he is not a fan of the Illuminations Cruises, but the rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Especially since you just took a ride on Breathless II this past weekend.

Please keep your arms and legs inside the tram and remain seated until the tram comes to a full and complete stop.
Episode 570 - Listener Questions -- Gay Days in the Parks
Authored by: Kfischler on Thursday, May 28 2009 @ 07:03 AM CDT
We have never been at the parks during official Gay Days. When NC schools let out in May, we used to visit just prior and now that schools let out in June, we pull the kids a few days early and visit just after the official days. It's not like the "teams" suddenly change fields on those dates and there is some carryover before and after. The Gay Days always occur during the month-long period of Star Wars Weekends. One year, I saw an unoffiical non-judgemental warning that stated we might see some flamboyant or oddly dressed people during our visit. Well, on Star Wars Weekends you really couldn't tell. It was kind of like the Mos Eisley cantina scene and everyone blended. I would still avoid the official Park Day for Gay Days just to avoid the extra crowds.
Gay Days

I was unknowingly at a Gay Day in the Magic Kingdom far too many years ago.

It was unusually crowded, but apart from that, it was fine.

Mind you, we were stuck on "It's a Small World" for about 10 minutes, and I still have memories of the men in the boat behind me singing loudly - and often:

"It's a gay world after all, it's a gay, gay, world."
