I would have gone to see Dru on every visit to the Living Seas. That animatronic is incredible, one of the coolest things I have ever seen. A million times better than any other animatronic I've laid eyes on. Think of the possibilities...what if they added a Turtle Talk aspect to Dru? Like you were talking to a dolphin. They could have done so much with this. I wish it would have worked out! I can't believe it didn't...I'm like Len right now, why did it go away??? Such an amazing thing to have built and developed. I just did the same as piwackitt and listened to the episode in the car on the way to work and then loaded up the YouTube clip as soon as I got here. Absolutely amazing!!! I can't understand how this has been so little-known before now. If you'd put this up on April 1st, no one would have believed that this wasn't a real dolphin, it just looks so very, very lifelike!

What a waste to think that such a creative and clever piece of equipment is now lying idle on a shelf somewhere...

Simply amazing...though the interaction with the "real" dolphins was obviously a trained response rather than a response to DRU.

This was the coolest thing! I can't believe it only lasted 5 days!
I mean- the Stitch show lasted longer- and people hated that!
Fascinating look at imagineering- thanks for having Shawn on the show- I hope he can come back for another episode sometime soon.
