We’re headed to WDW in 23 days (whoo-hoo!!) and staying at CS. All the talk on the podcast has made us really nervous about that choice, but I guess it's too late to do anything about it now. Even though we've been to Disney before (last time was 8 years ago though!) this will be the first time we're staying on property.

For anyone who has stayed at CS, any ideas on how to make the most of our adult, mother-daughter trip? Unofficial Guide in hand and researching CS, it seems there are many rooms listed as “good.” I think we’d prefer being closer to El Centro. Anyone have a room preference that would work for a standard double?
UK Resort Bookings

If Chris from Uk did mean how long out can he book a resort, if you book through the Disney UK website you can book more than 12 months out, I booked June 08 for my December 09 trip and the rate is fixed, not just a subject to confirmation when the rates are released

To Chris in the UK: We actually went to WDW twice this year - once in April over spring break and the other Mid June. If you are an experienced WDW tripper, then go with a touring plan over spring break. However, if this is your first or second trip, then perhaps go in June

The weather in April is really nice. It was extremely comfortable. We ended up with light jackets for some evenings. However, the crowds were HUGE. During Spring Break. I found that the studios & epcot were fine. We got our fastpasses for headliners. MK was SUPER crowded though. You must get to that park early over spring break or forget going on anything. I can't comment on AK, we did not make it there.

June this year was VERY VERY VERY hot. We typically vacation in June and normally it is about 90 degrees, which is hot, but doable. This year was nearing 100 degrees during the day and 90 in the evening, even at midnight. Even the air conditioning inside attractions & restaurants was NOT enough to cool down. Now, with that being said, we still had a fun time, but wondered why we showered ever during our trip because we never stopped sweating.
