Don't like Dr. Scopa's AP/FP proposal one bit. You get your AP discounts, that's enough. No class systems in the parks! Once you start down that slippery slope there is no turning back.

In planning our trip for Sept 5-12, I noticed that they added a 10:00pm Fantasmic on Sept. 6 and 10 (according to the official schedule).
12 year old activities

Both Hannie (11 yrs) and Katie (11 yrs) loved the pick-a-pearl at Mitsukoshi in Japan. The pearls were $15.99 and the settings were as low as $12. You don't have to do a necklace or earrings - you can have them make it into a key chain too. While you are shopping in Japan, the Ramune soda (you push a marble into the neck when you open it) was well worth the $2.00 for as happy as it made them.

I was half asleep listening to this and heard my name as someone who had submitted a question. My first reaction was, good Lord, I sent that question in eons ago. Probably shouldn't have shocked me that much, but the question had been answered in a live show. So, yeah. Then, as the letter was read, I heard something about a "5-year-old" child...and knew one of two things had to be true: 1.) there's more than one Amy from Kentucky out there; or 2.) there's something pretty huge that I don't know about here. And they're 5. LOL! --AmyFromKentucky, aka the other Amy...from Kentucky
I liked Kim Possible

Does that mean I'm less cool than a 12-year-old girl? Of course, like many things in life, it's improved by array of alcoholic beverages available in World Showcase (possibly not recommended for 12-year-olds).

There actually is talk of Carsland according to Jim Hill....
"Come 2012 ... Don't be too surprised if elements of "Cars 2" (Which will send Lightning McQueen and his friends from Radiator Springs off to Europe for a all-new racing adventure) start popping up in the "Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show." And beyond that ... There's even talk of pulling out DHS's Studio Backlot Tour. Flattening everything from the "Harbor Attack" tank show on back to Catastrophe Canyon in order to make room for a WDW version of DCA's "Carsland."

In regards to the centralized Fastpass at AK...

When I was there on Aug 27/09 you could get a fastpass for all 3 attractions offered at the same time.
They still didn't post the return times but it didn't really matter because you could have all 3 at once and didn't need to try and work out a schedule for them. I just went from machine to machine and got them all as soon as we arrived. It was fantastic, we were able to finish all we wanted to do in just over 2 hours.
(ITTBAB, Dinosaur, Primevil Whirl, Expedition Everest, Kilamanjaro Safari, and Kali) Got there just before 10 AM and we were gone by noon.

The centralized Fastpass at AK is no more - it ended at the end of August.
