I just wanted to comment on Wishes. When I first saw the show in 2006, I kept comparing it to Disneyland's Remember Dreams Come True, and Wishes was a huge disappointment. Now on my trip to WDW in May 2009, I watched Wishes again and decided to view it for what it was and not compare to, in my mind, the greatest fireworks show Disney has ever done. This time around I enjoyed it a lot more when I didn't compare it to Wishes. I still rank Remember Dreams Come True as the best fireworks show I've ever seen, including some hour long shows for the 4th of July and the 2002 Winter Olympics.

How I rank recent Disney fireworks shows on both coasts that I've personally seen:

1. Remember Dreams Come True (Disneyland)
2. Believe in Holiday Magic (Disneyland Christmas)
3. Illuminations
4. Magical (Disneyland's newest as of summer 2009
5. Wishes

I've yet to visit WDW during the holidays, so I can't comment on their holiday shows and/or hard ticket fireworks, though I think elements of Magical are very similar to elements of Music, Mayhem, and Magic.

I'll be curious to see if Disneyland brings the show back. While I enjoyed it, there are a lot of vocal critics on websites devoted almost exclusively to Disneyland. At the same time, it does pack the hub similar to RDCT.

And while I enjoyed it, I wouldn't complain if they increased the pyro for it.
