Re-paying for tours

As a suggestion for Andy, when we booked the Segway tour, we were told that it could be cancelled with a full refund if cancelled at least 4 days in advance.

I've got a feeling, many years ago, that you could book the Segway tour at Epcot Guest Relations.

Therefore, if you want to be certain of getting the tour, how about:

1. booking the Segway tour so that you are sure of the reservation,
2. enquiring say a week in advance if there is plenty of space (just so you know there isn't a waiting list, if one exists). If so,
3. cancelling the existing Segway tour, and
4. re-booking the tour whilst at Disney, using the voucher.

It's possible you could re-book the Segway tour at your Disney hotel as well, using the voucher, but I've never stayed in Disney US property, so I don't know about that.

I think we should make Matt sit in those awful seats in Fantasmic. I bet after a week he'd be begging to go on Dinosaur.

I am laughing heartily, here! Perfect timing, you guys, answering my question
about my upcoming trip on the very day after I return. Score!

You'll be happy to know that I averted disaster and talked the family into
remaining on-property for the full 10 days of our trip, so no messing things
up with Universal or SeaWorld!

Even with 10 days, we didn't see it all. Amazing.

Keep up the good work, I need you guys as I go into Dole Whip withdrawal.

To Mike from Minneapolis: the WDW Gang's Disney-centric ways are a little out of control when it comes to rival parks. Both Universal (USO, IOA, Citywalk) and SeaWorld are fine places to visit if you have a few extra days (Busch Gardens in Tampa is pretty darn cool too). I would never recommend skipping out on Disney, but IN ADDITION to your Disney time, you will be quite pleased with what the competition has to offer, especially if you like a few more thrills with your immersion and story. Disney is the Filet mignon, of course, but Universal and SeaWorld aren't chopped liver (or Six Flags for that matter). Attractions like Spider-Man, Dueling Dragons, Revenge of the Mummy, Simpsons, MiB, Rip Ride Rockit, Kraken, and Manta rival and sometimes better anything Disney has to offer. And shows like Terminator 2 3D, Believe, Clyde and Seamore, and Blue Horizons are as much singular experiences as anything offered in the World. And lastly, Mythos restaurant at IOA, and Sharks Underwater Grill at SW provide the kind of theming, atmosphere, and flavorful food that you would only expect to get at a Disney theme park.

So feel free to branch out, you will have a great time.

PS Citywalk blows the current, stripped-down version of Downtown Disney out of the water (except for Raglan Road, of course).

When you were talking about selling an overlay for the 2010 Unofficial Guide, I thought of three things.

First, I had it pre-ordered on Amazon. (I love pre-ordering. When it shows up, it's like getting a surprise gift that you really wanted.) So when my special present to myself showed up and I opened that box and saw what I saw, I said "Huh?" really loudly, and Rob asked, "What's wrong?" and I said something like "Len must have been at the beach getting a haircut." Rob said, "Oh, is that a picture from Universal or something?" Nuf, said.

Second, please include the little square "thumbnail" of the pic that appears on the spine of the book in the set. (I see that every morning when I get up. Right at eye level. Ouch.)

Third, I would like to request as the layover the picture that Len uses on Facebook. The one where he is holding the Guide and peeking over the top while standing in front of Cindy's Castle. I love meta-humor, and that would be an instant classic!

I really enjoyed this show. I'm putting it into the "listen again" play list!

Pre-order? The 2010 Edition has been out for close to 2 months....I got mine from Amazon in August.
It's a grill and a cooler?
