Hey Mike Newell, I got the reference right away and agree it was the best Thanksgiving movie ever. "They say we are going the wrong way." "How do they know where we are going?" "Yea, how do they know where we are going?" Just remind Matt and Len when they are stuck sharing a room next time that those aren't pillows! Happy Thanksgiving to all... Ken in Richlands, NC Oh, and we are not frying our turkey either.

This doesn't really have much to do with today's episode, but it seems worth throwing out there (the muppets doing bohemian rhapsody, worth watching in full-screen):

Episode 648 - Listener Questions--Annual Passes

My oldest Annual Pass, 1985:

The document is (c) 1984 Walt Disney Productions. Anyone know if 1984 was the first year for the annual pass? I know we were using the cards with the date stamps when EPCOT first opened, but I'm not sure if there was some sort of AP before 1984.

In my cache of ancient WDW ticket media, I also have a couple of unused passes to the Wide World of Sports Complex. Any idea if those ever expire? ;-) These are from around 2000/2001.

Characters In Flight

We did the Characters in Flight on our last trip and really enjoyed it. I would actually recommend this attraction.

I understand Mike's point, and I wouldn't leave a park to go do this then go back to the park. However, if you have a morning or evening planned for DTD I'd say check it out. The view from up there is nice, and you can get some pretty pictures. And if you are there for a few hours, you will see when it is running. When we first arrived they were grounded, but by the time we left supper it was running again so we strolled over and only had to wait about 20 minutes for the folks ahead of us.

It might also be something good to do on the day you arrive/leave if you don't really have enough time to do a park.
