I ate at the Sci- Fi once. The food was awful. Then again that was 12 years ago. I'd like to think it has gotten better.

regarding the biometrics; On 2 occasions we have given our annual passes, with 1 or 2 weeks left on them, to friends and they used them without incident. We told our friends to use them for the first time during park opening, when the cast members are trying to get everyone in. This was a couple of years ago, so it might be different now, but at entry time, it is so busy, that most of the time, the cast member just buzzes you in if the biometric doesn't work. I believe that the new biometric is then recorded onto the ticket.

re boats from WL:

I am pretty sure there are two choices. One is to take the boat from the right side of the dock that will go from the WL to Fort Wilderness and then on to the MK. The other is to take the boat on the left side of the dock which goes directly to the MK.

Totally disagree about SciFi. We had avoided this restaurant every time we visited because of the guys on the podcast saying it was terrible and reviews in Unofficial Guide. My mom made reservations and I grumbled the whole way in. Boy, were we surprised. It was one of our favorite meals while we were there. Every meal the 5 of us had was awesome. You have to try to BLT Soup or the Beef and Blue Salad. Yummy!
