Sorry, Matt, but I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else regarding the parking. I can think of no area in WDW that has themed parking, so why so down on Kidani? (Perhaps just because it's the only parking structure on property.)

Plus, not only is your vehicle close to your room, but best of all, it's protected from the elements, so no 120+ degree sauna inside your car when you open the door.

Important note:
Sanaa is a one dining credit restaurant. IMO, one of the best dining plan values on property.

I have to agree with Matt about the parking garage at Kidani Village. It is true that no other parking area has much theming but then again other parking areas are outside of resorts and parks so the resort and park theming can often be seen from the parking area. Also when you are from a northern state being outside in Florida in March is a theming of its own. If you are going to have a covered parking structure at Disney it should be different from the one at your mall. After all the attention to detail is what we go to Disney for otherwise there would be no such thing as "hidden Mickeys".

Keep up the great work y'all.

I find it difficult to pay $9 for "Indian bread service" when most Indian (and non-Indian!) restaurants will provide bread at no charge. I think most DVC members would find a CS spot very useful, but perhaps they wouldn't use it often enough to make it worthwhile for Disney to provide one. Value and Moderate resorts have a LOT more guests that have no other alternative at their resorts so they probably get a lot more traffic than a CS spot would get at Kidani.

Regarding the appearance of the parking garage -- go in December. I went to dinner at Sanaa in December and it was so dark I still don't know what Kidani looks like, let alone. I was happy just to find my way in and out of the parking garage. And Mike, at BCV we ALWAYS park within 100 feet of the building.

If I'm remembering the timeline right, when Kidani was on the drawing board, there were no plans to do away with the DVC perk of free valet parking. The underground parking would have been mostly valet spaces and so a majority of the people staying at the resort never would have seen it. When free valet parking went away, it suddenly became viewed by a lot more people than originally intended. Had the planners that be known that valet parking was going away, who knows if they would have done something different in the design of the parking structure, but by the time free valet parking went away, Kidani was already open and in operation.
