Five Days at Disneyland
Authored by: martinmcintosh on Wednesday, October 20 2010 @ 09:37 AM CDT

I've had an AP at Disneyland for 25 years, you can see it ALL in 5 days without any planning with no worries. The lines app has some beta times for DLR which will help. Checkout the Mousewait app too.

The parks are much smaller and right next to each other so you don't need a plan as much as WDW. Just relax, plan a little and have fun, but be sure to see World of Color!

If I can answer anything specific, drop me an email martinmcintosh@mac.com.

There are a lot of Disneyland planning resources out there. All Ears has some information, Mouse Planet has information on closures, times, etc, Laughing Place.com, etc. I've played around with the Disneyland Beta on Touring Plans and it's a lot of fun.
checking in early

I've noticed that if you use the online check-in your rooms will be ready whenever you get there, at least it's worked for me. However, I've not requested a specific room.

Morocco and Norway were built a few years after the other pavilions were built and didn't have the original lighting scheme. They aren't lit because they were not built with the lasers and lights, probably just for cost and that including them into the Illuminations program would have been too difficult technology wise. Japan and China have much more religious looking structures but they are lit. I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure religiosity has nothing to do with it.
