Lights, Motors, Action

Lights, Motors, Action was imported from Disneyland Paris. At that time in DLP, there are more audience participation in "Moteurs... Action!". For example, they recorded about 10 members of audience going from one shop to the exit whilst being "shot" at. This scene was then included in the final video at the end.

It's a shame that that never made it to WDW.

Ah yes, didn't we all enjoy Warden Wilson Mutua's attempts at keeping that pesky Ms. Jobson in check on safari's?

What time is the 3 o'clock parade?

Good topic!

One of the attractions that was altered from the original I that I always notice is Carousel of Progress. I miss the voice of Rex Allen doing the narration. (Yes, I know about the cameo of Grandfather in the tub). He had such a rich, resonate and friendly voice. Is it any wonder that they also used his voice for some of the live action movies that came out in the years to follow? Why did they change it? Was it because he had died? They did the same thing to Spaceship Earth. I prefer the Cronkite version myself. Who can argue with "the most trusted man in America"?

What about Tower of Terror? When it opened, wasn't it one drop...and then get off the ride?

ps the 6 train doesn't go to Yankee Stadium, it's the 4 train that wins a lot. The D train does well also...the B train, however, moves like the line for Dumbo.

"Mission Space: Red -- The Martians Strike Back!" I actually made a T-shirt for this from Zazzle, and gave it to a friend.
Surprised you didn't get around to SSE, but nevertheless a very entertaining episode.
