I read your title and absolutely lost it! You made my day! While you talked about it jokingly Wednesday, I never thought you'd go there. This is great! Love ya'll.

I'd hole up in the Swiss Robinson Family Treehouse. In theory, it kept pirates out in the movie, so it's a good start. High sightlines, surrounded by water. (I verified this on Google Earth - oh, crap - I'm taking this way too seriously!) With the treehouse, comfort, a water supply (again in theory), escape through the Jungle Cruise attraction, and by slogging/swimming, the water will take you to a lot of food sources (ex. the back side of the Crystal Palace).

But Tom Sawyer Island would be my first choice.

Would zombies be confused by the human looking audioanimatronics? Then I'd hide out in It's a Small World (oops - wrong type of animatronic; very, very bad idea; strike that) Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion - at least I could go out in style.

Pontoon boat warning: driving too fast with too much weight upfront can drive the nose of the boat down into the water. Been there, done that, bought the jacket. Recoverable, but highly embarrassing.
The Seas

The answer in EPCOT is simple, The Seas.

If you re-engage the Hydrolators, you are completely underwater!

Plus two words....Manatee Burgers!
Keep your arms and legs inside at all times

There isn't just one way in and one way out in the Land. There will be emergency exits and Cast Member exits.

Also, if there is a critical mass of zombies, they might break windows, so you would need the boats handy at all times.

I think you need to look at a defense in depth where you are able to take a few zombies out, then fall back. In Epcot, the Seas and Land are both good for this. After Future World falls, you can fall back to World Showcase. China is pretty easily defended and is right by the fire boats, but who wants to eat at 9 Dragons? I'm thinking Friendship Boat with a Turkey Leg cart taken from USA, then defend the pub in UK. As World Showcase falls, you fall back to DHS via boat.

Ideas for DHS defensible positions.
  • Lights! Motors! Action! -- inflammable body of water. (Note that the word inflammable is used correctly to mean can be set fire.) Also, there are cars and gasoline. There are probably crew snacks and bottled water that might last a while. I think there were a few guns lying about, too.
  • India Jones Stunt Spectacular! -- Those planes have guns!
  • Is the infrastructure still there for the old Backlot Tour that included the waves in the pilot cabin of the boat? There were some cool water guns there. There are still piles of old props and catwalks. I hid some pasta salad at the 500th episode event, so there are rations, too! ;-)
  • Last but not least, "Sounds Dangerous!". I don't think even Zombies would want to go in. You could just hide out there--safely.

This might all be invalid. I haven't seen Zombieland. All my knowledge of Zombies is based on my mastery of Plants vs. Zombies, and the Jonathan Coulton song, Re Your Brains, link provided here http://www.jonathancoulton.com/2006/03/24/thing-a-week-26-re-your-brains/.

Very educational! In fact, I think a 3-part mini-series on PBS is in order.

Best Episode EVER! I just got back from WDW on Friday and listened to Ep 836 and 837. I totally thought y'all were joking on Wednesday but when I saw the title of 837 I flat out lost it! Excellent show! Keep up the great work guys!

You don't have to outrun the lions, you just need to outrun the zombies...
In AK, I'd go for Yak & Yeti. Better food than monkey island, second level, highly defensible.
Epcot: Odyssey Restaurant. You'd only have to hold a couple bridges! Somebody's going to be in trouble when the zombies find the controls for the Inferno barge...
MK: IASM. The dolls will come to life and defeat the zombies.
    DS: You're right, we're dead.
You guys have finally lost it. Result: best show in a long time.

The cardinal rule of surviving the zombie apocalypse is that you don't have to outrun the zombies. You just have to outrun the guy beside you.

Don't forget the handy escape tunnel at Ft. Langhorne if your position gets overrun (because you only had 3 people to man 4 turrets).

    Just a couple of ideas:

Stitch - Even Zombies won't want to check it out.

Space Mountain - Both entrances are at the front, easy to block, 3 food carts that can be pushed into the huge area.

TOP PLACE NOT TO STAY - Dinosaur

I really think Test Track would be a good option. Seal off the lower level entrances and exits. You've got the elevated exterior track to scout and attack from. The VIP lounge could serve as comfortable sleeping quarters. Send a car around the exterior track to distract the zombies while you make a quick trip to the Odyssey for food. And if you ever need to make a getaway you have a selection of the latest and greatest automobiles from GM.

The Land just seems like it's set up for a massacre. The sustainable food sources are an obvious draw, but there are just too many windows. There's no way that's holding up. I suppose when they inevitably break through you could head to Soarin' for one last terrifying ride, as they swirl below, before the Disneyland fireworks signal your descent into the undead party.

The real question is, of the four of you guys, who would survive? I think it would come down to Len and Scopa and Len's star power would carry him to the end. Sad to say Matt would be the first to go. Good luck guys and thanks for a great show!

I'm going to have to listen to this episode again! I could have sworn I heard Len says at one point, "Yes, but seriously . . . " Did he really say that to get back on THIS topic?

    BRAVO!

I also ROFL when I saw this one...

We can pretty well rule out finding guns in the parks... guess we'll have to rely on stuffed mickeys since we'll want to keep the turkey legs to eat

How about using the monorails to travel from EPCOT to MK? For supplies, whatever.... once you started walking on rails, no zombie could follow you without falling off....

But, gotta watch out because the first step's a doozy on the way down

For me, there's probably no better place on property than the Land pavillion. When the zombies are away, you've got Soarin' and the "Circle of Life" movie to entertain you. You've also got two restaurant kitchens full of cutlery/knives for weaponry. Most importantly, you've got the entirety of the "Living with the Land" attraction...water to serve as a barrier, animatronics to confuse them with the rainforest/plains/desert/farmland scenes, etc. You've also got a possibly unlimited food supply with all the vegetables (and fish) growing in the greenhouse. It's practically a bio-dome. You could simply pull all the boats into the greenhouse and lock those bay doors to keep the zombies out. There's ANOTHER great defense resource to be found in the greenhouse that I think some might be overlooking. They're small now, but they have plenty of potential: the alligators!
