Centrifugal is where you think you are being pushed out but the real force is Centripetal the wall/side pulling you in towards the center.

You didn't comment on Sounds Dangerous, where the best seat in the house is technically anywehere outside the house !

Fantastic subject for a show. Well done. The front seats on Space Mountain do, in fact have less leg room. I noticed a pronounced difference between the front seat of the 3 versus the back two of the 3.
Also, the back row effect for roller coasters is complicated on everest because you're going backwards for a portion of the ride. I rode it back to back in the front and then the back and actually thought the front was equally intense, as opposed to Big Thunder where the front is easy compared to the back.
Thanks for a great show!

On safari's, the back always seems to be bumpier than the front.

I had to register so I could comment on the centrifugal vs centripetal forces and chopsva already beat me to it. He's completely right too.

For Everest, I have to disagree completely. I rode it back to back with one being the front and one in the back. I think the front gives better views of the broken track and the disco yeti. Also, since the ride spends most of its exciting bits going backwards, the front seat becomes the back seat and is the intense spot. Just my experience.

Hmmm. Was waiting for seating/standing favorite spots for Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic.

Hmmm . . . . thought the secrets might be revealed, but no! :)

Here's an idea for another episode, as well. Favorite photo spots. Anything unorthodox,
or off the beaten path for cool photos? Maybe as part of a photo tips episode?

On RnR, being in the back makes the initial acceleration more exciting. In the front you are immediately plunged into darkness.
On Soarin', I understand Len's point, but stilll think the best seats are in the middle section of the top row (or "B1" as the cast members say). In fact on the Nature Inspired Design segway tour, you are taken into Soarin' and led into that section, and told you are getting the "best seats in the house" (exact quote). Sense of motion is not an issue for me.
"Push the accelerator"?!?! lolol!
Len thinks he's riding "Mission Space: Red -- The Martians Strike Back"
Cheetahs and (mostly) Hippos are on the left too.

I think that the best seat while watching American Dream (America - Epcot) is in the front row. You get to see the effects better that way.
