One thing we started doing a few trips ago was clean out our wallets the day before the trip and load the essentials into conventioneer-style neck pouches. This way we're not fumbling with wallets, especially at the pool where we may not have pockets. It's also something we don't do at home, so we know we're in vacation mode. (And if the unthinkable happens and the pouch is lost or stolen, we wouldn't be scrambling to cancel ALL our credit cards.)

Bring your ADR confirmation numbers. If there's an issue at the restaurant, it helps to have that number, and canceling ressies goes a lot faster with the number handy.

We still have a dedicated digital camera (we still use dumb phones, and the only smartphone is my work one), so we buy a fresh memory card for the trip. It's a lot easier to sort the vacation photos afterward if they're the only ones on the card.

Even with the introduction of wi-fi at the resorts, we'll still probably bring our wireless router with us for the next couple of trips so that we're not stuck sharing the bandwidth with a couple hundred others.
