I'm listening to the Victoria and Albert's episode with particular interest since we were there (in the main dining room) the night after Len and Emily were there, and had several of the same items (the cauliflower pannacotta, the breads and butters, the cheese course sounded the same). I'd do that again, and I'll look forward to trying the chef's table sometime -- when I'm not picking up the full check for seven people as I was that night (Christmas gift for my adult children)!

I couldn't agree with you more about V&A being worth the money. My husband took me for my birthday in Oct.

1. The level & quality of food was far beyond anything we had ever experienced. The Kobe beef was my favorite dish. It literally melted in your mouth

2. We were w/the main dining room peeps & did not find it to be stuffy at all. There were several other large groups that were laughing, taking pictures & having fun, no one seemed bothered.

3. The service was unbelievable, although, I was expecting all the CM's to speak w/a fake Eng accent.

4. The main dining room meal is approx 2.5 hours, drinking a flight (6glasses of wine) in 2.5 hours, well let's just say my husband took a quick nap on the little couch in the children's area at GF lobby after the meal.

This is a definite Disney Bucket List item.

Poor Matt, he sounded so sad. If I ever have a spare $700 laying around I will be sure to take Matt and Marissa to the chef's table.
