Loved it - would go through it every time we were at Universal.

The Great Movie Ride of Death

Have to agree with Len about the Great Movie Ride of Death.

I was able to get into the penultimate show at 7.50 p.m. but declined, as I wanted to see all 10 minutes of the trailers. Got into the last show at 8 p.m. instead.

A great way to end off a day at the Studios.

The movie-type preshow presentation is probably on the way out because of the principle of "show, don't tell". Don't have a fixed narrative, and you leave the guests' imaginations in charge. It also makes it easier to make small (or not-so-small) changes to the backstory if you don't have to reshoot film.

Agreed on the trailer collection in the GMR. It should run longer than the expected wait time inside that section of the queue with all of the switchbacks in use -- you shoudn't see it loop.
