Regarding the last question: The confusion stems from the fact that the person claims they are staying in a "Little Mermaid Standard Suite" at Art of Animation, but the Little Mermaid rooms at AOA are not suites. So either the person asking the question is referring to sleeping 4 adults in a standard room, or they are very confused. And now I'm confused!
As far as I know, there aren't any Little Mermaid rooms with King bed.

The listener who asked about extra people at Art of Animation was asking about a Little Mermaid room. Those rooms are the only non-suites in resort; they're standard value rooms and should be the size of a Pop Century room.

Rooms with a king bed (assuming they're like those at Pop Century) have features for disabled folks and will only have one bed, so I don't know where they'd put the extra two adults that they're trying to sneak in. If the goal was to get a king bed but still have room for 4 to sleep, that's not going to happen unless all four adults want to be in the same bed.

If the goal is to avoid paying extra for more than two adults (age 18+) in a room, you might get away with it (heck, you could probably sneak 20 people into a room!), but following the rules is certainly safer than risking whatever consequences might result.

just wanted to relate an experience with insurance:

I was with my family last year when Hurricane Irene caused cancellation of flights to New York. Our trip Insurance paid for car rental to drive home, gas, meals, tolls and lodging along the way. This would have ben a real hardship without trip insurance. My father-in-law was a travel agent and always encouraged trip insurance for big vacations. I"m sure he was in heaven smiling down at the peace of mind the insurance gave to us.

Actually the goal was was to get a king bed but still have some room for four to sleep, which was not gonna happen unless all four adults want to be in the same bed. :) Regards, photo playing cards
