Turkey Legs

I was cracking up during the Turkey Leg discussion-hilarious. One positive: it may work as a sort of "smelling salt"to wake groggy motorists up in the morning-who knows, it may decrease accidents during morning commute.

With the changes in annual pass pricing, what are the chances of children's tickets coming to parity with adult tickets prior to hitting the hundred dollar mark?

I agree that they'll stay $99.99 for a 1-day ticket for a long time--at least 3 years. What I expect WDW to do to counter their "losses" is cut services even more drastically then they're currently doing. Imagine the 33% reduction in evening Extra Magic Hours across the spectrum. Then when they finally do go over $100.00/day, they can increase prices while not restoring those items that were cut.

That's what they did with the Dining Plan a few years ago--they took out the app + tip after 07, and temorarily reduced prices (by 1 whole dollar!). The cost of the basic DDP has risen over 40% since then (from $39/day in 08 to next year's $56/day). The odds of seeing a return of the app + tip to the basic DDP? Can we list a negative number? :)

I think they will keep the single-day ticket at $99.99 as long as possible. What they'll likely do for now is make up the revenue on the multi-day tickets. The additional day discounts won't be as great as they are now. Right now the difference between a 3 and 4 day base ticket is $14, and between a 4 and 5 day is $12, and additional days starting with day 6 increase $10 per day. They'll likely increase the difference between a 3 and 4 day to $15, and a 4 and and between a 4 and 5 day to $13, and then go $10 more per additional day starting on day 6.The per extra day price for day 6 and beyond will likely increase eventually too. I think that is the range they will likely raise for now rather than the single day price. They'll want to let Universal go to $100 first.
