Just a friendly FYI, Swan and Dolphin are not Hilton Hotels. Starwood includes Sheraton, Westin, W Hotels, etc.

I don't agree with the hosts. I would rank the Epcot resorts as follows:

1. The Boardwalk: There are some great restaurants (Flyin Fish, Kouzzina) the Belle Vue Lounge, Jelly Rolls, but many people choose to stay here because of the ambiance (what Matt referred to as "noise"). There is something about being among the turn-of-the-century atmosphere and activity of the boardwalk that you can't experience at the other resorts. By the way, they criticized the "pool" but there are two pools at the Boardwalk resort - one more for kids with the fun areas and one more for adults looking for a more peaceful spot
2. Swalphin: There are some of the best restaurants on property with Blue Zoo, Shula's, Kimonos, and Il Mulino. The Cabana bar is great with some of the most creative drinks on property. The pool and beach areas are better than most and on par with Beach/Yacht Club. And the price is lower than the other Epcot deluxe resorts. There is nothing to dislike here, unless you really need the Disney characters around.
3. Beach/Yacht Club: It's Boardwalk without the atmosphere. Nothing special here except maybe Beaches & Cream and the pool. The other restaurants are mediocre, and the rooms are more expensive (at times) than Boardwalk or Swalphin.

All of them are great for location, being between Epcot and The Studios. You can stroll into either park or take the boats. There is not a thimbles worth of difference in the rooms at any deluxe resorts on property, so IMO the restaurants, atmosphere, and amenities are what separate them.
