Don't sweat dropping Avatar

Disney has a couple of ways out from having to finish Avatar Land. Worst case, they pay the kill fee that is surely built into the contract. More likely, they'll do what they did to J.K. Rowling when the "creative differences" started coming up in regard to Harry Potter: they'll deliberately propose a product that won't meet Cameron's standards and say it's the best they can do with the resources that they've got. It won't be good enough for Cameron, and he'll take hs ball and go home. And if he runs to the competition, he'll be their headache.

I can not believe you missed the whole Disney Lucasflims Studios conversion of the entire Studios park, or even a whole new theme park.
