Does this mean that I shouldn't pack my pitchfork for my next visit?

Is there not going to be a revolution?

The final question discussion on Walt always raises a difficult issue in terms of trying to understand how Walt might react to current developments at Disney.

I think that it is critical to remember that it was the "creative tension" between Walt and Roy that enabled the company to be successful. Walt, if left to his own creative and visionary ways, risked bankrupting the company. It was Roy, who focused on the bottom line and who had to reign in Walt on many activities. Roy was always acting behind the scenes in his role, until Walt's death in 66.

There is a parallel of sorts with Michael Eisner and Frank Wells. It was the creative tension between the two of them from the mid-80's until Wells' untimely death in 94 that enabled Disney to rebound successfully from the depths of financial ruin and the likelihood of breakup. Like Roy, Well's played his role behind the scenes and allowed Eisner to become the face of the company, as the new Walt. It was not until Wells' death and the loss of the insulating role he played, that Eisner's failings as a micro-manager and leader became apparent.

One can envision various scenarios if Walt had lived longer or if Roy had passed away first. How would Roy's loss have affected Walt or the financial success of the company? In the same manner, one can wonder how Eisner's legacy might have been different if Wells were still alive.
